Places to go #2: Ruby Tuesday & My Countdown to March!

What I'm Listening To: Viva la Vida-Coldplay

Today was HECTIC. I woke up late and I had planned to send off the poetry book today. Mom wanted all of this stuff done around the house, like hanging lights in the tree, putting up the wreaths, cleaning the house, etc. Luckily, she let me finish the book and then join my family later up in the tree. The squirrels had eaten up the lights that we had up from last year, so we had to restring them. We definitely need more though, because the tree looks like it's half strung.

I barely made it to the post office with the envelope, only an hour before it closed. Still, the whole day I was pressed for time and hunting around for things. I was glad that I decided what was going in and what was coming out and I only had to do punctuation editing today. Now all I have to do is wait until March for the results for that and try to keep my head above water until then.

Thankfully, tonight we all ate at Ruby Tuesday and went to a Bucks game. It was nice to see basketball live again. If you have a Ruby Tuesday near you, I definitely recommend it. Their burger platters have endless fries, and their peach tea is awesome (and you get free refills on that as well). If you have the salad bar, you get free refills on that too! Basically, the food is good and you can get tons of free refills on things.

The Bucks actually played pretty well, all up until the end. The game was against the Orlando Magic, and the end was just too anti-climatic. 100-98 and we lost. Brandon Jennings, the rookie who scored 55 pts in one game, was pretty good in the game and so was Erson (I can't remember his last name). Also, there was another guy who played point who was really good as well. But they should have pushed more at the end. Too bad they couldn't win as a present to Andrew Bogut, who turned 25 today.

So now I'm back at home, but still have tons of work ahead of me. I just want it to be over and for Christmas to hurry up and come already. I need a real vacation and sadly, Thanksgiving was not it. I just ate better food than I normally would, and I could have watched movies back in my dorm. Especially G.I. Joe. My siblings and I all agreed that it was filled with a ton of bad acting...

Someone please fast forward to next semester and slow down on the vacation time
