What I'm Listening To: Everyday (Family Reunion)
Tell me why I have watched Madea's Family Reunion like three times in the past four days. I think it's the best movie of the Tyler Perry movies. It has just the right amount of comedy and drama to make it work, and plus Boris Kodjoe. The acting was spot on, and basically, I loved it.
Midterms are still raging, so I haven't been able to get on as much as I'd like. I came up with another book idea. It seems as though I can't write them fast enough because I have a file of sixteen books that I plan to write. Hopefully, I will write them all in the next ten years or so. If I was really ambitious, I'd say five. I could probably do it, except I am a realist. There is so much that I want to do, like become classically trained at the piano, be fluent in Spanish, learn French, finish the series I'm already working on, and take kickboxing or martial arts or something.
Speaking of Spain, I got accepted to the study abroad program in Madrid for a year. I'm going to Spain for a year! I am so excited and happy and thrilled about it. Even though I might be set back a year for my other major, I feel as though this will be worth it and it will only make me want to learn French that much more. I have so many plans and so many things that I want to do in the future, but I realize that I might never get to accomplish some of them.
Today I watched 500 Days of Summer, and I didn't think it was all that great. At the end, I was really confused and then I felt like they were both immature and didn't know what they wanted out of their relationship and that's why it ended weirdly. It received glowing reviews, so maybe I missed something or maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea (I think the latter). It's interesting that some people call it a comedy; I thought it had plenty of awkward moments and it just grew more and more depressing after a while. So I don't know, it was interesting. Any of you like it?
I also went on a women's retreat this weekend, and it was amazing. I truly feel refreshed (even though I hit my head on a wall while playing capture the flag and practically got a concussion) and awesome. Another weird thing is that people have told me about Chatroulette. It's this really weird internet site where you go on and immediately come into contact with strangers who can video chat and type chat with you. If you don't want to chat with them you click next, and the next totally random person comes on. It's addicting, and apparently the Jonas Brothers go on it, so...
I'm going to attempt to write more of my book, or possibly go to sleep. Hopefully my next post won't be as delayed
