What I'm Listening To: Charmed theme song-Love Spit Love
So today was rough for me-I went from meeting to meeting and didn't eat till about two o clock. Then we had a Council meeting and we tried to tackle the Internal Budget. Oooo, it was not a pretty sight. I think that the freshie reps finally got a taste of what they are getting themselves into. There was a lack of decorum. The Vice Chair, Academic Affairs Chair, the Chair, and various other people all lost their cool. I was sitting and trying not to burst out laughing with someone I think I feel comfortable calling a friend again. So in other words, it was REALLY bad. Also, there was some legislation about our accessibility for disabled students that was sponsored by the Diversity Committee and I spoke in favor of. Today was honestly just a mess. I'm looking to do more with diversity, but a lot of people have defeatist attitudes and don't look towards the positive. There was an article today in one of the student run newspapers, The Badger Herald just bashing our committee and I thought that was wrong because the person writing the article obviously didn't have the facts. Please people, do some real journalism based on actual facts.
I have my scene for theatre class tomorrow; wish me luck...
